Socrates Kimbler  

Socrates' father was Anderson Kimbler and his mother was Katharine Layne (Kimbler).  His paternal grandparents were George Washington Kimbler and Mary (Polly) Estepp (Kimbler). He had seven brothers and six sisters, named John, Joseph, Hiram, Samuel, William, Leah, James, Mary, Rachel, Hannah, Sarah, Martha and Rebecca. He had two half-brothers named William and Joseph.
