Nathaniel was born on July 11th, 1801.  Nathaniel's father was Abraham Adam Picklesimer and his mother was Elizabeth Prater (Picklesimer).  His paternal grandparents were John Beckelhymer and Anne (Beckelhymer); his maternal grandparents were Thomas Prather and Hannah Miles (Prather).  He died at the age of 83 on February 26th, 1885.

‌Nathaniel and Lieuraney were married on February 20th, 1821.  They had three sons and five daughters, named John, Francis, Phillip, Margaret, Maryann, Nancy, Susan and Celia.
