William Thomas Stephens 
William was born on June 29th, 1882. William's father was James Owens Stephens and his mother was Melissa Isabell Anna Acker (Stephens). His paternal grandparents were Needham Stephens and Peggy Jones (Stephens); his maternal grandparents were Jasper N Acker and Anna E Bailey (Acker). He had three brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Iona, Albert, Derothy, Ida, Walter, Althea and James. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 23 in 1905.-
