Henrietta was born in 1918. Henrietta's father was Iona Stephens (Friday) and her mother was Henry Friday. Her paternal grandparents were James Owens Stephens and Melissa Isabell Anna Acker (Stephens). She had a brother and four sisters, named Joel, Eunice, Mable, Iona and Ima.
