Levin was born on July 21st, 1898. Levin's father was AreFonzo Kimbler and his mother was Alice Tufts (Kimbler). His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Greene Kimbler and Martha Melvina Collins (Kimbler, Back); his maternal grandparents were Levin Shreves Tufts and Julia Ann Morrison (Tufts). He had three brothers and four sisters, named Nathaniel, Herbert, Raymond, Edna, Lillian, Vivian and Esther. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 on January 20th, 1968.-

Betty was born on December 26th, 1931. She died at the age of 76 on May 16th, 2008.
