Rosie was born on January 1st, 1910.  Rosie's father was Thomas Samuel Whithurst and her mother was Mary Emma Curtis (Whithurst).  Her paternal grandparents were John William Whithurst and Barbara Ann Davis (Whithurst). She had two brothers and three sisters, named Truman, Samuel, Opal, Emma and Ellen.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 60 on February 4th, 1970.
